Consulting an Intuitive Professional for Strategic Decision-Making
Intuition defies logic, space, and time to arrive at accurate, useful information not otherwise available through the physical senses. From a materialist perspective we can’t explain how it works, and the good news is that we don’t have to explain it to enjoy the benefits.
An intuitive professional can provide valuable input at every stage of the five step decision-making process.
Step One: Define the problem or objective. Everything else hinges on getting this first step right. It’s vital to know, for example, if your core issue should be classified as an objective or if it’s just a symptom of something larger. An intuitive consultant can help get to the heart of the matter and clearly define the issue before any resources are wasted pursuing irrelevant paths.
Step Two: Gather Information. We zoom out to get the bird’s eye and zoom in for the details for a 360-degree awareness at the physical, emotional, and energetic levels. This can reveal surprising insights and new information not otherwise available.
Step Three: Develop and Evaluate Options. When it’s time to refine the options and identify the best possible solutions, an intuitive consultant’s ability to explore how each option measures against established screening criteria such as cost vs. risk is highly valuable. In addition, an intuitive can help perceive any hidden strengths, weaknesses, unknowns, and potential outcomes for each option, as well as help ascertain if there are any unexplored options worth looking into.
Step Four: Choosing the Best Option. An intuitive can see if there are any potential impacts – known and yet unknown – that could adversely affect any course of action. Being able to sense into and beyond decision criteria, into what may be unknown in present time, is what makes intuitive consulting predictive, protective, and truly indispensable to the strategic decision making process.
Step 5: Implement and Monitor the Decision. Once the best course of action is selected, an intuitive consultant can assist in implementing and monitoring the progress of the decision to ensure a course for success.
There’s no question that consulting a professional intuitive for high stakes decisions and strategy can be money very well spent. What I’ve realized after years of working in this field is that receiving the consultation is as much an art as giving it.
Some people turn too much of their personal power and decision-making responsibility over to the intuitive. Some take every word the intuitive says as ORACULAR while for others a sort of skeptical resistance (almost defiance) arises and takes over, rendering the consultation useless.
I’ve discovered that I can avoid these extremes by taking a few minutes at the beginning of the consultation to connect with the client and together create the optimal space in which to work. I help the client connect to their own intuition and throughout our session if I sense them disconnecting from our space, I bring them back in.
When the client is aware of receiving their own intuitive hits during the consultation, they naturally flow with the information I present in the most beneficial way possible.
I’ve found it helps to keep the tone light-hearted and playful even when (especially when!) the decisions involve large sums of money and life-altering impact. Many times lightening up enough to laugh and have a little fun with the process brings up epiphanies for the client—the insights that are finally visible when we open the blinds and let in the sun.
