How I met Frank
December 2019, a few days before my first reading with Frank. This is at the ruins of Baelo Claudia in Cadiz, Spain.
I’m going to tell you how I met my mentor. Within this story I hope to give you an idea of the following:
1) What I look for in an intuitive professional and therefore,
2) Who I strive to BE as an intuitive professional.
Ten years ago I was coming out of the most dark and difficult time of my life. A friend told me about the healing she and her husband had experienced after going to a spiritual medium in England. Her husband was devastated and struggling to cope after a series of sudden deaths in his family. The medium described in incredible detail these family members and relayed their messages of love, hope, and encouragement. My friend witnessed a transformation in her husband. Though he continued to grieve, he was able to move forward with his life.
While listening to her story, I felt a strange mix of emotions. I had been taught that psychic mediums were frauds at best and demonic at worst. And yet, I perceived she was telling the truth. This friend encouraged me to get a reading. I felt that would be good for me, but I knew it had to be the right psychic medium. I felt that I would know the right one when I heard their name.
About a year later at the end of 2017, I realized that the life I was living—while fun and glamorous—was a little empty. I felt a longing for deeper fulfillment and made a solemn promise to myself to seek it. That promise unlocked something because soon after, I experienced psychic phenomena three times within one week. I suddenly knew things about people there was no logical way I could know. While that happened a lot when I was a kid, for several reasons I didn’t realize it was psychic ability.
In 2018 I made a new friend I admired a lot who told me she consulted a psychic medium every six months and so did nearly everyone she knew. She was shocked I had never had a reading. I told her I was open to it but I felt it needed to be the right person. She recommended the woman she consulted and offered to give me her contact info. For whatever reason I didn’t take the information at that time.
A year later I decided I really wanted a reading. I had some decisions to make and wanted a higher perspective. I texted the friend, “Hey, what’s the contact info for that psychic you see?”
She replied with an audio saying she’d just had a reading with someone else there in Nashville where she lives, and she recommended him highly. “His name is Frank Castellanos,” she said.
When I heard his name, I felt like a little light turned on. I knew he was the one I’d been waiting for. I admit it could be that my memory is influenced by how great Frank turned out to be, but I remember that I had no hesitation in booking a reading with him. At that time he had a six-month wait list. Now his wait list is over two years, yet he has never done any marketing. His client base has grown entirely through world-of-mouth.
Frank is a fifth-generation psychic medium so his natural gifts have been nurtured and shaped into impressive skills since he was a child. So that’s part of what makes him great. He’s consistently accurate in the evidence he gives. But I don’t think that’s the reason he has a two-year (and growing) wait list.
I hadn’t given much thought to what makes Frank so wonderful until recently when I was trying to describe him to a friend. I always come away from a reading with Frank feeling better in every way. Yes, he has a fun and engaging personality, but it’s more than that. Healing power comes through him in his insights, but also at a subconscious level. His presence feels charged with transformative love.
I don’t know Frank outside of our sessions, but I’m pretty sure he sees himself as a regular guy. In our sessions he seems grounded and relatable in spite of his unique talents. He’s not doing this to show off. He’s motivated by a genuine love for people and desire to serve in the best way he can.
The fact that there is such high demand for his services tells us this is rare in the spiritual marketplace. I’ve had readings with psychics who are obviously skilled, but I’ve come away from the reading feeling confused and/or anxious.
Frank has told me some difficult truths occasionally. He seldom says something like, “Everything is going to be fine” or “you got this,” but he doesn’t have to because he radiates an energy from which all of that is assumed. That energy is way more powerful than words. Like Julian of Norwich, Frank knows at the deepest of levels that “all shall be well and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”
I also know this. It doesn’t feel to me like something that I chose to believe at some point in my life. It feels like I’ve always known that we are much, much more than we perceive ourselves to be and that the ultimate reality is Love. I don’t know how or why I came to know this—I just do—and this is the truth in which I hold people.
I think Frank’s work is more oriented to mediumship while mine is more psychic guidance, specifically for transformation and manifestation. I have more clients coming to me for mediumship recently which surprises me. I don’t work on my evidential mediumship skills at all, but if someone asks for that I’ll give it a go.
